The Scrapyard - Est. 2011 The course has a beautiful forest with slight elevation changes and lots of trees. There are two water carries, a feature unique to Charlotte. The holes aren’t too long but are very wooded and technical, forcing accuracy. The Scrapyard is named after the fundraising efforts of the Charlotte Disc Golf Club President Ralph Vickers. Funds for this course were raised from donations of scrap metal. Kilborne Park - Est. 1991 The course is carved out of the woods with most fairways open enough to put some zing on your tee shots. The front nine is flat and easier than the back nine. Holes 3, 4 long, and 6 are the most difficult on the front side. The back nine has some minor elevation changes and has arguably the three most difficult holes: 12, 16 and 17.
