The iconic Hornet’s Nest has been resurrected with a new layout and amenities. The front 9 is a park course weaving through the mostly open and mowed shared park amenities. You will have open throws, raised baskets, and even a true island hole (tournaments only).

The second half of the course is your standard Carolina Piedmont woods course, longer than the front but secluded, safe, and quiet. Fairways have been widened and signage updated.

No swimming for discs on hole 2 , island green is now approved tournaments only.

Honestly expected more, hole 2 iconic basket was pulled & signage was fine, but not great. Course itself was cool with lots of technical shots and risk/reward lines

Good conditions rn

Iconic Charlottle course. The rough here is less forgiving than nearby Nevin.

Cool, fun and challenging course, but the layout is an unacceptable mess. For such a signature and high-level course, I don’t know why they can’t just get some consistent tee signs and useful way finding.
