The iconic Hornet’s Nest has been resurrected with a new layout and amenities. The front 9 is a park course weaving through the mostly open and mowed shared park amenities. You will have open throws, raised baskets, and even a true island hole (tournaments only).

The second half of the course is your standard Carolina Piedmont woods course, longer than the front but secluded, safe, and quiet. Fairways have been widened and signage updated.

No swimming for discs on hole 2 , island green is now approved tournaments only.

Signature course. Hornets Nest lives up to its reputation. Established in 1979 this course has been kept up and holds any amenity you may want except a swimming pool (but I may have missed it). The course will challenge the best in the world while also allowing intermediate players enjoyment.

Incredible course in a stunning park. Signage can be a bit confusing because there are lots of teepads to choose from but overall relatively easy to navigate. Definitely come play here if you’re in Charlotte!

Good course, played golds. Overall, the wooded holes felt pretty repetitive. Aggressive shots will get punished bad, so I played them pretty safe, so it was the same putter/mid over and over again. The holes outside of the woods were fun. If you like tight lines, you'll love it here. Shorter pads might have been more enjoyable with more opportunity to be aggressive.
