Renaissance Gold at Renaissance Park

Charlotte, NC
Course Designer(s) Stan McDaniel

A monster of a course, with a bit of everything thrown in. Uphill, downhill, wide open, tight mandos, ravines, heavily wooded, long and even a short one or two.

Follow YELLOW arrows and markings to yellow/gold baskets. Some baskets will be colored white/gold or red/gold for the other courses that overlap and share baskets. Directional signage will be updated in NOVEMBER 2015 but is not updated yet.

Renaissance Park is world renown and people travel to play this course.  It is, by far, the most challenging course in the area.

Lots of effort has been spent both on the course and on this web site to help explain how best to navigate your way around on your first visits. Please take full advantage of these resources…..better yet, contact someone in Charlotte to be your tour guide!

This course is overgrown, very tough and technical, losing a disc is a high possibility on some holes

Beast of a course but very fun. Not for beginners. Pretty steep hiking in some areas. I would not recommend if it has rained within the last couple of days.

Super wet and washed out

Not friendly to navigate if you haven’t played this course. Crossing holes, mixed matched holes, multiple baskets for the same hole, intertwined with another course. Very confusing course, and signage is not great… A lot of confused people out there on where to go to play and where the next hole is. Thankful for a random person to tell us where to go MULTIPLE times! This course needs major help. Does not come close to what Charlotte offers at other courses.
