The course has lots of elevation and lots of fast greens. Water comes into play on 8 holes.

Beautiful hardwood forest and two rock greens to keep it fun. Bring plenty to drink, it is a work out and worth the effort.

This park is named for Officer Robert L. Smith, a Charlotte police officer slain in the line of duty. Officer Smith was shot and killed January 15, 1987 while responding to a call of someone shooting into a condominium complex at Spyglass Place.

This has incredible potential to be a top tier Charlotte course. As it is right now I’d skip the front 9 until it’s mowed/cleaned up. You can see exactly where your disc lands and still spend 20 minutes looking for it. Most trash cans are full so people have started leaving trash wherever they like which is unfortunate, pack it out! Back 9 has some great wooded shots, you can tell a lot of work has been put into bridges so after a bit more upkeep happens I look forward to playing here again.

In its current shape, it’s about a 3.5…however, once maintenance is caught up, this course is easily the funnest Charlotte Course I have played. Leave the cart at home, this course is NOT cart friendly.
