Course Director(s) Josh Bowlin
Year Built 2012
Tee Pads Concrete
Basket Type Mach V

There are the ruins of an old plantation house and a couple outbuildings which inspired the course name, The Plantation Ruins. The course has a combination of wooded and (a few) open holes, and is fairly short.

This course sits close to an elementary school and you will walk past a playground on the way from hole 14 to 15.  soccer fields, horse shoe pits, walking paths, rest rooms and picnic shelters.

Designed and built by Sam Nicholson with lots of help from course director Tom Usselman and others from the Charlotte Disc Golf community, this course is for the beginner to intermediate player but is tight enough to be interesting for advanced players as well.

Out of 200 courses played across the country.. This is the nicest, most well kept free to play course I’ve ever been to. Highly recommended.

Intermediate level course but beginner friendly. Not a 4.0 by any means considering what Charlotte has to offer. Amazing upkeep. Will challenge your approach game. Very scoreable.

Needs better directions to get to Hole 1. Other signage is good

Really nice course. Well maintained with a wide variety of shots. Benches on every hole, great teepads and just a really nice park in general. Definitely stop for this one if you’re in the area. Little muddy after rain but that’s pretty much any course.
