Bailey Road Park

Course Designer(s) Stan McDaniel

Year Built 2000

Bailey Park DGC is set in a very pretty park in Cornelius, NC. This beginner friendly course was designed to be your first course. Holes are mostly open (6 wooded) but baskets are placed around obstacles to promote different shot making.

Most baskets are visible from the teepads. This is a great (and very safe) course to bring a family or to practice midrange shots after work. There are 20 full holes here with concrete tee pads. 13A and 13B form a loop between 13 and 14. Be on the lookout for future improvements and additional 4 holes are planned over the next few years.

Bailey has supported a Glow league weekly since 2010. Email discgolfnews@yahoo.com for more information.

5 basket locations are moved randomly throughout the year; holes 2, 7, 12, 14, 16.

This course is SO good. Another example of an incredibly well maintained park in the CLT area. The 21 hole layout was a blast with a lot of variety and super getable holes. I can’t wait to come play here again.

Fun, mid-range course. I like that they’re playing deeper into the woods with the new layouts.
