Scrapyard at Idlewild Park


The Scrapyard - Est. 2011 The course has a beautiful forest with slight elevation changes and lots of trees. There are two water carries, a feature unique to Charlotte. The holes aren’t too long but are very wooded and technical, forcing accuracy. The Scrapyard is named after the fundraising efforts of the Charlotte Disc Golf Club President Ralph Vickers. Funds for this course were raised from donations of scrap metal. Eager Beaver at Elon Park


Eager Beaver - Est. 2008 Short, beginner-level course in southeast Charlotte. Some holes fairly open, others are fairways in the woods. Two full sets of concrete tees provide challenge for beginners through more advanced players. Don’t be tricked by the distance of this course, parts are heavily wooded. Be sure to stick around and play both sets of pads in under 2 hrs. Angry Beaver - Est. 2009 This is a longer, advanced level course located in southeast Charlotte. Course is mostly in the woods. Accuracy and placement are more important than length. Renaissance Gold at Renaissance Park


Renaissance Gold - Est. 1992 A monster of a course, with a bit of everything thrown in. Uphill, downhill, wide open, tight mandos, ravines, heavily wooded, long and even a short one or two. Follow YELLOW arrows and markings to yellow/gold baskets. Some baskets will be colored white/gold or red/gold for the other courses that overlap and share baskets.
