Minutes from April 13, 2005 - CDGC Club meeting: Attendees: Ralph Vickers, Bill Jacobson, Sam Nicholson, Dave Marchant, Craig W (Wit), Tripp Cole & Jamie, Doug & Diana Singleton, Scott 1) Money Bag$' update: $1879 balance if all payables are paid up. This does not include around $200 profit from Renny Mules. 2) Courses Updates: Kilborne: A.OK Reedy Creek: 2-3 more collars for Stout Tees to be installed. Signs are getting close to having all sponsorship money raised Hornet’s Nest: Stan finalizing permit to chainsaw himself. MJo and his minions will provide manpower to haul and clear. Sugaw Creek: Workday this Saturday (4/16)! 10 pads to be poured. That leaves only 7 to do later. Then baskets get installed. It’s getting close! Renaissance: Course is in best shape ever after all the work preparing for Renny Mules. Big thanks to Stan, Drew, Tripp, FriZZaks, and all others who helped with that! 3) Hall of Fame Classic sponsorship. Will donate one set of discs for auction. 4) NEW BUSINESS: A) Club Weeklies will have “Club Champions” who will be points series winners. Divisions offered will be Open, Advanced, Advanced Masters, Intermediate. Must have 3 or more to compete per weekend. If there are less than 3 present, you will compete in a division of your choice and get points in that div. Club Members will get 1 point for every player they beat or tie (including themselves). Prizes for each winner, bragging rights, and your name on a plaque is what the winners get. Everyone gets a good dose of fun!! B) 50 tee shirts will be bought and sold at events. They will have the club logo on the front and a variety of the course artwork from the 5 disc sets on the back. Should be hot sellers and a good fundraiser. C) USDGC is running from Wed-Sat this year rather than from Thu-Sun as in years past. We will need to rally the troups for volunteer efforts since this will cut into people’s work weeks more than it already did. D) Ironman event is 5/28. Rob and Ralph will run it since Bill is out of town. E) Re-elections for Club Board of Directors will be as follows: Nominations taken in October & November 2005. Vote will be at December club meeting. Installation of new BOD will be at January 2006 meeting. If you want more details than this, come to the meetings! :)
